Job Description

In the position of Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding a diverse portfolio of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth within the industrial sector. You will engage with end users, OEMs, distributors, and consulting firms to deliver exceptional sales performance, consistently surpassing your assigned targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for business expansion and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including inside sales, technical support, and leadership, to provide comprehensive client solutions.

  • Negotiate sales terms and pricing within company guidelines to ensure both customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product innovations.
  • Provide insightful market analysis to aid in the development of business strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Engineering or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in strategic sales/account management.
  • Demonstrated success in the sales of electric motors, industrial controls, or automation equipment.
  • Exceptional skills in client relationship management and business development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software, with a preference for MS Dynamics.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven to achieve results.
