Action Officer
The Opportunity:
When our country's cybersecurity is on the line, simply reacting is not enough-we need a plan. And when that plan needs to protect the DoD's enterprise, we need strategic policy development. That's why we need you, an Action Officer with the skills to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.
As a cyber strategic planning and policy development spe cia list on our team, you'll assess the DoD's current cyber policies , the coverage of those policies , and areas of risks. You'll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you'll work on the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You'll work with the client to help them operate securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment.

You Have: \n - Experience with an enterprise task management system
\n - Experience supporting and communicating with senior leaders
\n - Experience developing briefings, talking points, and presentations for clients
\n - Knowledge of the Department of Defense and its components
\n - Knowledge of cybersecurity policies and principles
\n - Ability to track tasks and due dates and help keep a team on delivery schedule
\n - Ability to balance multiple workstreams and work collaboratively across teams
\n - TS / SCI clearance
\n - Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or 9+ years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have: \n - Experience in the DoD CIO, OSD, or a Military Command
\n - Experience serving in the U.S. Armed Forces
\n - Experience with Corresp ond ence and Task Management System ( CATMS )
\n - Knowledge of cryptographic modernization or Communications Security ( COMSEC )
\n - Possession of excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
