Overview Armed Security Officer (Military Experience Required) – Location: Boca Raton, FL. Pay: $26.00 per hour. Job Type: Part-time (Permanent – Sundays). Expected Hours: 4-6 hours per week. License # B3300046 Position Overview We are currently seeking a highly reliable and physically active Armed Security Officer to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. This position is ideal for a former military service member/law enforcement looking to contribute to church safety in a visible, disciplined, and impactful role. This is a permanent assignment, covering Sundays, with opportunities for additional hours. Officers will be stationed at a church campus where professionalism, presence, and proactive deterrence are essential. Responsibilities Maintain a safe and secure campus environment for clergy and guests Conduct active patrols of church grounds and access points Monitor entry/exit areas and enforce visitor access control procedures Respond to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies swiftly and effectively Must be capable of wearing a plate carrier and patrol actively outside on foot Deter and detect potential threats through active presence and situational awareness Qualifications U.S. Military service required Valid Florida Class D and G Security Licenses Experience in church, school or institution security preferred CPR/First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Must be physically capable of standing, patrolling, and will wear body armor on shift as requested by the client Excellent verbal communication and de-escalation skills Must pass background check and drug screening Neatly groomed appearance Must be able to successfully pass a firearms proficiency test Schedule Sundays 4-6 hours Opportunity to expand hours based on performance and client needs Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $26.00 per hour Benefits for eligible employees include: 401(k) with employer matching Professional Development Support Retirement Plan Location & Relocation Work Location: On-site – Boca Raton, FL Relocation: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Boca Raton, FL prior to starting How to Apply Please email your resume to guardiangroup@protonmail.com and text us immediately to confirm interest and availability.
