Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Architectural Designer is responsible for the creation and execution of architectural concepts and design documentation that support capital construction projects. This role ensures design integrity, regulatory compliance, and technical feasibility by collaborating across teams and overseeing elements of project implementation through construction.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop architectural design concepts and translate them into detailed documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and consultants to align design with project goals.
Prepare technical drawings and 3D models using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and BIM 360.
Conduct site visits and assessments to inform the design process.
Ensure compliance with zoning regulations, building codes, and sustainability standards.
Support contractor coordination and construction oversight activities.
Contribute to QA/QC efforts across design and construction phases.
Prioritize multiple design projects, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Architecture or Related Field

EXPERIENCE

6+ years in architectural design roles supporting capital or commercial projects.

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, Civil 3D, BIM 360
Strong knowledge of building codes, constructability, and sustainable design
Excellent problem solving and visual communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
