The Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) at Girl Scouts of Western Washington (GSWW) is a vital member of the Executive Team, responsible for oversight and alignment of the Philanthropy, Episodic Volunteering and Alumni Stewardship, and Marketing and Communications teams. This role is central to driving revenue growth, increasing brand awareness, and fostering a thriving membership base, all while advancing GSWWs mission and expanding its positive influence in the communities we serve. The CAO will develop and lead a highperforming team with a strong emphasis on philanthropy, fostering alignment across fundraising, events, community relations, episodic volunteering, alumni engagement and marketing and communications to advance a unified external engagement strategy.
This is a regular, fulltime exempt role with the requirement of residency in Western Washington, preferably within the Greater Seattle/King County area. This position is classified as hybrid some work can be conducted remotely, but successful candidates must be willing and able to come into a GSWW office or alternative work location as necessary or when requested. The starting pay range for this position is $138,890 to $156,251 per year based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, tenure within the Girl Scout Movement, and budget considerations.
