Join Our Team as an Executive Coach – Empower Leadership and Transform Organizations - 6 month contract - part time - primarily remote with some travel in NYS - Albany

Are you a seasoned executive coach passionate about shaping public sector leadership? We are looking for a highly skilled, part-time Executive Coach to partner with senior officials in the public sector, fostering their professional growth and enhancing organizational effectiveness. In this role, you will deliver personalized, confidential coaching sessions to strengthen leadership capabilities, assess leadership styles, and develop tailored development plans aligned with public service priorities. Your expertise will guide leaders in building cohesive teams, resolving conflicts, and engaging stakeholders effectively. Monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed, you'll serve as a trusted advisor committed to leadership excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to enhance executive leadership skills and team collaboration.
• Assess leadership styles, team dynamics, and growth opportunities using recognized assessment tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate to create customized development plans emphasizing organizational and team leadership growth.
• Offer guidance on team building, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
• Track progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt coaching approaches accordingly.
• Recommend relevant resources, workshops, and reading to support ongoing development.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and professional standards throughout all interactions.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5-10 years of executive coaching experience, with certification from a recognized coaching body preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding or prior experience within the public sector or government organizations.
• Proven ability to develop senior leaders in high-stakes, complex environments.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and trust-building skills.
• Ability to work with clients in New York, remotely or in person in Albany as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees in organizational development, psychology, public administration, or related fields are a plus.
• W2 employment preference.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with technology or data-driven organizations.
• Knowledge of organizational change management and cultural transformation.
• Multilingual capabilities or experience working with diverse leadership teams.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; higher education strongly favored.
• Extensive experience in coaching senior leaders within the public or nonprofit sectors.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel within New York as necessary.
• Valid coaching certification from a recognized body.
