Job Description

Position Title: Forklift Operator

Wage: $18.00 per hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd

Hours: 5:00am-2:30pm; 10:00am-7:00pm

Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Safely operate sit-down lift trucks to transport, stack, and organize products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, process incoming and outgoing shipments, and handle put-away and picking tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Use scanning equipment to ensure accurate and timely product movement.
- Assist with inventory control by following established policies and procedures.
- Identify and report any damage, inventory shortages, or safety concerns.
- Follow all safety guidelines and participate in ongoing training.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Ensure product integrity during handling and transportation.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet performance and quality goals.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.

Forklift Operator Requirements:
- Previous forklift or lift truck operation experience required; certification preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, motivated, and eager to contribute to a positive workplace culture.
