Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
CNBC, the world leader in business news, is seeking a Podcast Producer with exceptional storytelling skills and podcast production experience to support the day-to-day production and promotion of CNBC’s flagship daily news podcasts and originals. The producer will also take a leading role in the development and launch of any new podcast series.
The ideal candidate will have solid business news acumen and editorial judgment, with exceptional audio production skills, and will demonstrate a strong capability to weigh in on and contribute to related podcast projects. A leading candidate will also have experience adapting TV and digital content into engaging audio-first business news stories.PLEASE NOTE: This is a short term position with an estimated duration of 8 months , unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
