Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Director to oversee and manage the planning, direction, and execution of IT programs in a DoD environment. This role requires advanced leadership and technical expertise to ensure successful delivery and innovation across various complex projects. The Program Director will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of the program lifecycle, from initiation to completion, while fostering collaboration across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies for the successful execution of projects within a DoD environment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project success.
• Oversee the procurement of IT hardware and software, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in the program management process.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, risks, and achievements to senior management.
• Research and implement new and emerging technologies to improve program outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with DoD regulations and policies related to IT operations.
• Manage and mentor team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in an IT-related field (required).
• Minimum of ten (10) years of IT program management experience, with at least five (5) years in a DoD environment.
• Experience with technology procurement and the implementation of IT systems.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of IT program management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations certification.
• DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in an IT-related field.

Clearance Level

DIA adjudicated clearance TS, SCI eligible.
