Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Commission Landscape Designer About the Role We’re looking for a talented and motivated Landscape Designer to join our residential landscape design/build team. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work closely with clients, project managers, and installation crews to bring outdoor living spaces to life — from concept through construction. If you’re passionate about residential landscape design, enjoy working collaboratively, and are ready to take your skills to the next level, we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Design and develop custom residential landscape plans including planting, hardscape, grading, and outdoor living elements. Meet with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle needs, and project goals. Create site analyses, concept drawings, 2D/3D renderings, and construction documents. Select appropriate materials, plantings, and finishes based on site conditions and client preferences. Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and field teams to ensure seamless project execution. Assist with on‑site measurements, site visits, and construction support as needed. Present design concepts to clients and incorporate feedback into final plans. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field (required). Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential landscape design. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and Microsoft Office. Strong design sensibility with an understanding of scale, function, and aesthetics in residential spaces. Knowledge of plants, materials, and construction techniques specific to residential landscapes. Strong communication and client‑facing skills. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits.
