Description The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has openings for an entry-level Network Engineer to work in our Orlando, FL office. This is an exciting opportunity to start your career by supporting the critical United States Air Force (USAF) ABMS Program as part of the Digital Infrastructure Network Manager (DINM) team. Primary Responsibilities Provide Network Engineering support including planning, designing, and evaluating network architecture. Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Juniper network hardware and software. Develop and manage policies and profiles to optimize application delivery and security. Work with Tier 2 Managers to establish regular monitoring of network devices to ensure optimal performance. Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates and patches under the guidance of Cyber Team members. Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, and application developers for seamless network solution integration. Support Classified IT infrastructure. Provide technical expertise to resolve networking issues, update, and configure equipment while maintaining configuration management throughout the system's lifecycle. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline with less than 2 years of related experience, or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline. Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Desire for continual learning and skills development. Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications Juniper Certified or Cisco Certified. RedHat support experience. SD-WAN experience. Knowledge of SAFe Agile implementation. Experience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms within the DoD. Knowledge of Cloud and Edge Computing and Networks.
