Northrop Grumman Advanced Weapons has an opening for an OO Software Test Engineer with an active clearance, to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate for this position is required to be on-site in one of the following locations based on preference. Northridge, CA, Linthicum, MD, or Tucson Az. As an integral part of our multi-discipline engineering team in Advanced Weapons, you will be on the forefront of developing next generation solutions to protect technology for our nation’s warfighters. The ideal candidate will be supporting one of our programs for defining and architecting a secured missile weapon system. This position will require close collaboration with team members of other projects within the organization for security architecture designs as well as external partners and customers. Roles And Responsibilities A successful candidate will have the qualities and essential functional expertise with: Conducting all aspects of testing - Functional, Regression, Unit, Integration Agile Scrum Master responsibilities running sprint ceremonies Work with Product Owners to break tasks into workable components and to determine the level of effort and plan sprints Writing Software Test Plans and Test Descriptions and running tests Comfortable working in a lab environment and operating hardware and testing software at a system level Running post processing procedures and documenting findings Work with multiple teams simultaneously Collaborating with Stakeholders and Government customers Basic Qualifications For a Software Engineer Level (T03) Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience. Experience working in an Agile Environment Experience in Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc. Experience in C++ or any object-oriented (OO) programming language Current U.S. Government DoD Interim Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications Experience with automation or analysis Multi-core and multi-threaded programming Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools Comfortable working in a lab environment Familiar using test equipment (Oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.) Current U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance adjudicated within the past 5 years Northridge, Ca Salary Level 2: 110,300.00 - 165,500.00 Linthicum, MD Salary Level 2: 105,400.00 - 158,000.00 Tucson, Az Salary Level 2: 95,300.00 - 142,900.00 Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $165,500.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
