New nurses without OR experience undergo a comprehensive 6-month orientation to develop proficiency in diverse surgical settings.
Description:
Patient ratio is 1:1. Shift is 8 hours with rotating off shifts weekends and call. We have 10 main ORs, 2 ASU ORs, 2 open heart ORs, and 2 cystoscopy ORs. Specialties include plastics, neuro, general, ortho, gyne, cardiovascular, cardiothoracic, urology, and robotic cases. 6-month orientation for candidates with no OR experience.
