Yards Brewing Company, located in Philadelphia’s Northern Liberties Neighborhood has been brewing Philadelphia’s brews since 1994. In 2017, we moved into a 70,000 sq. ft brewery and taproom, complete with two private event spaces. We host parties, showers, corporate functions, happy hours, and weddings! Our BrewUntoOthers theme runs deep through everything we do!

Job responsibilities:

• Set up, execution, and break down of event. This includes but is not limited to configuring room layout and furniture, décor, accommodating special requests, and full clean up post event
• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items, as well as setting up food stations & buffets.
• Checks stations before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner, answers any questions related to food and beverage items
• Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point-of-Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order
• Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests

Ideal candidate:

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prefer a minimum of 2 years of previous serving or banquet experience
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Must have a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor
• Ability to roll with last-minute guest requests and event changes
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
• Must be available on weekends with flexible hours
• RAMP Certified preferred
