Job Title: Project Manager - Water & Wastewater Infrastructure

Location : Southern Indiana
Employment Type : Full-Time
Reports To : Director of Construction Operations

Position Summary

A leading infrastructure contractor in the Midwest is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee complex water, wastewater, and renewable energy infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or environmental construction, with proven experience managing multi-million-dollar public works projects from pre-construction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of project execution including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and quality control.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, change orders, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee field operations and provide leadership to superintendents and foremen.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Participate in design-build and CMAR project delivery processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy civil or water/wastewater construction project management.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, MS Project).
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., DBB, DB, CMAR).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • PMP or CCM certification is a plus.
