Job Overview:

We are seeking a Reddit Community Engagement Specialist to build and maintain our clients' brand presence on Reddit through authentic community engagement, strategic content creation, and data-driven community management. This role combines creative content development with analytics to foster meaningful brand interactions across diverse Reddit communities.

At OGSMedia, we help brands like TikTok, Purple, TMZ, PETA, CBS (Metacritic), and more provide a top-notch experience to their communities on Reddit.

What We Offer:

• Salary: 2800 USD - 3000 USD based on experience (B2B contract)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Remote work with flexible hours (preference for 10am to 6pm EST)

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement and Research:

• Identify relevant subreddits and actively participate through strategic content submission and engagement
• Monitor Reddit discussions, trends, and competitor activity to create relevant content ideas
• Research subreddit cultures and build relationships with moderators to expand brand reach
• Discover new subreddits and build relationships with moderators to strategically expand brand presence
• Gather feedback from Reddit communities (users, moderators) and share insights with other teams

Strategic Content Creation:

• Create comprehensive content from idea to posting using Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and client documentation (G-Suite)
• Craft compelling titles and create visuals using Canva aligned with brand voice and guidelines
• Schedule and maintain consistent posting across multiple accounts while following subreddit rules
• Test new content ideas, learn from user reactions, and adjust strategies accordingly
• Organize and schedule Reddit content that promotes brands in authentic, engaging ways

Community Management:

• Respond to comments and questions in real-time, using AI tools to fact-check and keep discussions positive
• Handle negative feedback and controversial issues promptly across client accounts
• Manage multiple Reddit accounts and moderate communities when needed
• Contribute to subreddit setup and moderation when needed, ensuring adherence to community guidelines
• Handle increasing user interactions while maintaining quality and consistency across all touchpoints
• Manage spam, off-topic posts, and other community concerns independently
• Escalate complex or important interactions to appropriate team members and collaborate on responses

Analytics and Reporting:

• Collect and analyze metrics (upvotes, comments, sentiment) using Reddit PRO, Excel, and Google Sheets
• Track and analyze key factors, including impressions and comment sentiment, to refine strategies
• Transform Reddit data into actionable insights for future campaigns and post ideas
• Provide regular updates on performance and strategy adjustments
• Provide clear, consistent updates on progress, performance, and next steps to internal teams

Qualifications:

• Proven social media community management experience with measurable results
• Deep understanding of Reddit's platform, culture, and community guidelines
• Proficiency with AI content tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity) and Canva
• Experience with analytics tools and translating data into strategic insights
• Exceptional written communication with the ability to adapt to different community voices
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and campaigns simultaneously
• Quick learner who adapts to platform changes and community dynamics

Remote Work Requirements:

• Self-motivated with excellent time management and ability to work independently
• Proactive communicator who provides regular updates and asks questions when needed
• Reliable home office setup with stable internet for consistent availability
• Experience working asynchronously with remote teams across time zones
• Problem-solving mindset to troubleshoot issues independently before escalating
