An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education. This position focuses on delivering exceptional learning experiences to elementary students in a virtual setting. Location: Arenas Valley, NM (Virtual New Mexico DHH) Job Duration: NSY (Contract) Start Date: August 4th School Hours: 8:15 AM - 3:30 PM Hours per Week: 20

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with hearing impairments.
• Conduct virtual lessons, utilizing effective teaching strategies to engage students in a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed to facilitate optimal learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with parents, specialists, and school staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's education.
• Provide resources and tools to empower students in developing their communication skills, both academically and socially.
• Stay informed about advancements in educational technology and methodologies for teaching students with hearing impairments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.
