Fidelis Protective Services is seeking reliable and professional Armed Security Officers to join our reserve roster and step in when coverage is needed at client locations across the greater New Orleans area. Position Overview This on-call, as-needed role involves providing armed protection at a variety of client sites. You'll support the safety of personnel, facilities, and assets through mobile and foot patrols, monitoring, incident response, and enforcing site access protocols. We offer a path to more permanent assignments for officers who consistently demonstrate responsibility, professionalism, and dependability. What You'll Do Secure client properties through patrols and visible presence Control site access and verify credentials Respond to disturbances Document incidents and complete activity reports Assist with investigations into unusual activity or security breaches What We Require Must have your own firearm and duty belt (not provided by employer) Active Louisiana Security License with armed designation Ability to be dispatched with short notice to varying locations Strong situational awareness and communication skills Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure Must be able to walk, stand, and patrol for periods at a time. Preferred Qualifications Background in law enforcement, military, or private security CPR/First Aid certified Proficient in writing detailed security reports K9 experience is a plus Why Choose Fidelis?
