Overview:

Role: School Cleaner

Pay Rate: $16/hr

Hours: Mon-Fri (3pm-11pm)

Location: 340 Morris Rd, Fort Washington, PA 19034

The Campus Services Group (CSG) is seeking a dedicated School Cleaner to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facilities. In this position, you'll collaborate with staff and students, upholding high cleanliness standards. Responsibilities:

• Conduct janitorial and cleaning tasks in assigned areas to meet quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Utilize protective gear during all cleaning duties.
• Complete all cleaning assignments promptly and efficiently.
• Report any equipment issues or cleaning product needs to supervisors.
• Dust mop and damp mop floors in classrooms and common spaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, and communal areas.
• Dispose of trash, empty wastebaskets, and perform related tasks as assigned.
• Respond promptly to paging system alerts and customer requests.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and universal precautions for maintaining sanitary conditions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior custodial/janitorial experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to consistently perform routine tasks.
• Must be able to complete all responsibilities independently after training.
• Reliable and punctual for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
