Job Description

Century Group is in search of a Senior Accountant to work at our Mountain View office. Must have 5 years of accounting experience. Starting salary is between $80,000 to $98,000 per year depending on experience. Submit your resume today!

Must Haves:

• Very strong balance sheet reconciliation experience. Will need to update all of the company's balance sheet reconciliations for the last 5 years
• 2-3 years minimum general ledger experience
• Strong Excel skills including v-lookups and pivot tables
• Experience with 1 major ERP system
• Fits in with their positive collaborative culture

Responsibilities:

• Prepare period end financials by creating required G/L entries and accruals
• Prepare Balance Sheet and P&L fluctuation analyses and investigate any variances
• Support multiples branches by providing financial insights and relevant reporting
• Prepare multi jurisdiction sales and use tax returns, perform tax table maintenance
• Assist with review and costing of physical inventory, reconcile variance in cost of goods sold to inventory count
• Maintain fixed asset system, update for acquisitions and disposals, calculate depreciation expense
• Assist with annual budget process
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• Mentor junior staff, assign duties as needed
