The Role As a Field Solar Specialist, you will represent Sungevity in local communities, handle grassroots marketing, and act as a solar brand ambassador. Your goal is to generate excitement about solar energy. What You’ll Be Doing: Engage, qualify, and excite homeowners about solar, and generate new consultation appointments Update CRM with prospect interactions Complete accurate and timely reports Partner with Solar Consultants and Specialists to promote solar energy Have fun and stay enthusiastic! Qualifications Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills Ability to work independently, perseverant, resilient, persuasive Comfort with touch technology (iPad, iPhone, Android, tablets) Weekend availability Ability to walk and stand for extended periods Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license if applying full-time 18 years or older Compensation and Benefits: Full benefits for employees working 20+ hours/week, including vision, dental, health, and more Hourly wage plus uncapped commission, paid holidays, training, and time off Opportunities for advancement; relocation may be required Sungevity values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer.
