Job Summary
We are seeking a Seasoned Store Manager who has a passion for nature to oversee the operations of our retail store. The Store Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store, including sales, customer service, community engagement, inventory management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, be an effective communicator, a proven ability to motivate and manage a team that provides stellar customer service and can maintain a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operations of the store, including managing inventory, ordering products, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve the operations of the store.
• Directs, coaches, and develops talents within the team on best practices and high-level customer engagement.
• HR duties within the store such as hiring, training, and scheduling to the payroll budget.
• Implements the Marketing Planner as directed.
• Prepares displays, signing, and staffing for upcoming promotions and events.
• Fosters an active Community Outreach program.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 to 5 years of retail management experience.
• Interest in the backyard bird feeding hobby or nature is preferred but not required. We will train you!
• Must be skilled in Retail POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will include closing and weekend shifts, and working during busy holiday periods and sales.
