Job Description

We are seeking highly professional and skilled Tractor Operators. The Tractor Operator will be responsible for the operation of heavy equipment in a public setting.

What would my responsibilities be?

  • Safe operations of 100+ horsepower tractor and batwing cutter.
  • Daily monitoring and maintenance of tractor and batwing cutter.
  • Keen sense of surroundings, with ability to work safely by paying close attention to traffic and potentially hazardous ground conditions (steep slopes, wet ground, erosion, debris, and potential damage to property or the tractor and implement).
  • Follow ALL traffic laws and regulations. Utilize ‘Mowing Ahead’ signs as required on servicing roadways.
  • Contribute to our safety culture by attending and actively participating in weekly safety trainings. Follow company safety protocols, identify, and communicate safety issues to the team.

Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to maintain tractor and implements by checking fluids, cleaning dust filters, greasing, and cleaning tractor of debris daily.
  • Ability to use training and stay levelheaded in high pressure situations, including steep slopes and high traffic areas.
  • Ability to use proper mowing techniques to work efficiently and safely.
  • Displays safe roadway transport driving ability.
  • Demonstrates ability to operate tractor and batwing.
  • Must have reliable transportation to the Branch or first job site
  • Safe driving record and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (“MVR”) a plus
  • Strong English communication skills. Spanish a plus
