• Assignment Type: Travel Med/Surg RN\n
• Location: Wilkes Barre, PA 18764 (Northeastern Pennsylvania)\n
• Facility Size: 352 beds\n
• Unit: Med/Surg (21 beds)\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/27/2025 – End: 1/26/2026)\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:00am), every other weekend and holiday\n
• Hours per Week: 36 (48-hour requests considered)\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680-$1800\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent travel nursing experience\n
• 1-2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required\n
• Telemetry nursing experience required\n
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)\n
• Cerner EMR experience preferred\n

\n\nMed/Surg RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg patients, including post-operative, bariatric, oncology, and general medical cases\n
• Monitor patients remotely via telemetry with support from monitor techs\n
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
• Float to MS Tele unit as needed (patient ratio 1:6, surge plan up to 1:7)\n
• Document patient care using Cerner EMR system\n
