Soloh Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) Educator for a travel nursing job in Brooklyn, New York.
Long Term Care Nurse Educator
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Pay Rate: $85/hr
Schedule: FULL TIME M-F - HOURS MARY VARY BASED ON NEEDS - EARLY MORNINGS/NIGHT SHIFT AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED - MAY NEED TO WORK OCCASIONAL WEEKENDS.
Duties:
- Performs the functions of an educator, facilitator, change agent, leader, consultant and researcher in area of expertise.
- Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of orientation programs.
- Develops and implements staff development and continuing education programs.
- Collaborate at all levels of nursing to provide professional development, act as a mentor, and provide clinical coaching.
- Develop programs that are in compliance with facility
- Provide orientation for new staff and support the unit staff with competency development, and evaluations.
Requirements:
-Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
-Minimum three (3) years of relevant nurse educator experience.
-Atleast one (1) year of Long Term Care experience.
Demonstrates clinical expertise as an advanced level practitioner in the appropriate healthcare field and in adult education.
