Salary:

Tug Boat Captain

Qualifications:

• 5 + years total experience in a Captain role.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Strong knowledge of industry related software.

Required Certifications or Licenses:

• Merchant Mariners Credentials (MMC)
• Master of Towing endorsement
• TWIC
• CPR/AED First Aid Certification
• Valid Drivers license

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with companys Safety Management System (SMS), customer requirements, and all regulatory agencies.
• Ensure safe work environment by leading by example and guiding Crew Members based on federal guidelines, USCG CFR, and company SMS..
• Performs the maintenance repair program for vessels and/or ensures the program is being followed.
• Assist with project pre-voyage plans and logistics.
• Perform other duties or task as required based on companys needs.

Shift:

14 days on/14 days off, flexible schedule and rotation

Pay:

From $500.00 per day
