These are full-time roles designed for educators who believe in building strong relationships, fostering student independence, and championing inclusive practicesespecially for learners with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Position 1: Federal Setting III EBD
Work in a structured and supportive environment designed for students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
Youll guide students through daily routines, provide academic and behavioral instruction, and help them build strategies for successboth in and out of the classroom.
Position 2: Building-Level ASD Support
Provide in-school support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder across classroom settings.
Youll collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to implement IEPs and foster social, academic, and behavioral growth tailored to each students needs.
Design and deliver instruction thats adapted to meet diverse learning needs.
Write and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that reflect student strengths and challenges.
Partner with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated support.
Promote a learning environment rooted in patience, empathy, structure, and consistency.
Track progress and adjust interventions using data and student feedback.
A valid Minnesota Special Education License (Tier 14 accepted)
Experience or interest in working with students with ASD and/or EBD
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Commitment to building safe, student-centered classrooms
Manageable caseloads (810 students or fewer)
Dedicated paraprofessional support
