Your dedication to safeguarding our clients will be met with recognition, appreciation, and clear paths for advancement.Position: Unarmed Enhanced Security OfficerPay Range: $18 - $22 per hour (DOE)Key Responsibilities:Patrol and Observation: Conduct frequent foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned properties or areas.Access Control: Check identification, screen visitors, and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.Incident Reporting: Document daily activities, report any suspicious activity or security breaches, and follow established protocols.Customer Service: Provide a welcoming presence to visitors and staff, offering directions and assistance when needed.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and legal regulations, contributing to a secure workplace.Enhanced Unarmed Position:While classified as an unarmed role, officers in this position will be issued enhanced non-lethal equipment to effectively carry out their duties.This includes:Pepper sprayBatonTaserRadio communication gearBody-worn camera systemThese tools are provided to support officer effectiveness and safety during potentially hands-on situations. Officers will receive training in the proper use and deployment of this gear.Important Note About This Role:This is a potentially hands-on security position. Officers may be required to physically intervene in incidents when necessary to ensure the safety of clients, property, and the public. Foundation Security LLC takes the safety of our officers seriously and provides training, support, and the tools necessary to perform these duties responsibly and effectively.Only candidates who are comfortable with this level of responsibility and are willing to engage in physical intervention when appropriate should apply.Additional Opportunity:Armed Upgrade Sponsorship: Qualified Unarmed Officers who meet company standards and age requirements are eligible for a company-sponsored upgrade to Armed Security Officer status.Position Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum age: 18 years oldUnarmed DPSST Security LicenseValid drivers license and reliable transportationStrong communication and observation skillsAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningPrevious security experience of one year or more is preferredGeneral Qualifications for Position:Ballistic Vest: Must possess or be willing to acquire a minimum Level IIIA ballistic vest.
