Overview

Investors Title Insurance Company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Insurance Underwriter to join our Central Team. This role is ideal for individuals eager to grow within the real estate and title insurance industry. The Underwriter will ensure accurate title underwriting, provide excellent customer service, and support administrative functions. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service via phone and email.
• Process title insurance orders accurately and promptly.
• Maintain precise reports, client records, and receivables.
• Ensure adherence to underwriting principles and guidelines.
• Review and generate commitments, policies, and endorsements.
• Coordinate document recording with attorneys and recording offices.
• Communicate workflow challenges and suggest process improvements to leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in administrative or underwriting roles within title insurance, mortgage lending, legal support, or loan processing preferred.
• Knowledge of title insurance, legal instruments, and real estate transactions is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with underwriting systems and office software.
