I.K. Hofmann Staffing is a leading staffing and recruiting agency connecting qualified candidates with top companies. We are currently seeking a skilled  Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) for a client's facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Warehouse Associate who excels in operating a forklift and possesses strong warehouse management skills. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently managing IT assets, maintaining accurate inventory records, and adhering to data sanitization protocols. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating a forklift to move materials, unload trucks, and manage inventory within the warehouse.
• Capturing and uploading relevant device information into the inventory management system.
• Executing data wiping procedures using Blancco software.
• Sorting and routing assets based on technical relevance, physical condition, and internal components.
• Following strict data sanitization and destruction procedures in compliance with regulations.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Adapting to changing workloads and prioritizing tasks accordingly.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in IT asset management.
• Proficiency in operating a Raymond Standup Pacer forklift.
• Basic knowledge of office and enterprise-grade IT equipment.
• Attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Essential Requirements:

• Needs to occasionally move about inside the warehouse and office to access cargo shipments labels and invoices.
• Frequently moves cargo in the warehouse weighing up to 50 pounds.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with employees to give instructions. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. 

Work Environment : 

Warehouse facility

• Non-climate-controlled facility. Are sometimes exposed to very hot or cold temperatures.

Payrate: $20

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 830am - 530pm

Location: Atlanta, GA
