Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Legal/Litigation Secretary with 5+ years of experience to support our litigation team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in court procedures, filing deadlines, and legal document preparation. This is a direct hire opportunity replacing a long-standing employee who is retiring this summer. We aim to onboard the new hire as soon as possible to allow for a seamless training and transition period.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and track court filing deadlines
Prepare shell legal documents for attorneys
Communicate effectively with court clerks and other legal professionals
Support attorneys with litigation-related administrative tasks
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a litigation secretary
Strong knowledge of court procedures and filing requirements
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000
