Immediate Need!
Seeking two (2) seasonal full-time school bus drivers with potential to become part-time shuttle bus drivers after the season ends. Will transport eager and curious campers to and from worksite and Camp Greider'a magical day camp nestled in the peaceful forest of the West Salem Hills. It's the perfect opportunity to make a difference and have fun!

Minimum Requirements:
- At least Eighteen (18)
- Two (2) years' experience driving a school bus or related field
- Valid Class B Commerical Drivers License with passenger and school bus indorsements
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or obtain within thirty (30) days of employment
Preferred (not required):
- Medical DOT card
Job Duties:
- Safely transport day campers to and from locations each day, with some mid-day in-town routes
- Serve as a welcoming, dependable, and friendly presence for children ages six (6) through twelve (12)
- Support a summer experience that promotes confidence, friendship, and outdoor adventure
- Observe and listen for children at all times
- Respond in a timely manner to a child and / or situation to prevent harm
- Always understand and adhere to Child Abuse Prevention and company policy and procedure manual
- Complete specified training on the topics of Health and Safety, Child Abuse and Reporting and Concussions
- Report any suspicion of child abuse or neglect as per company guidelines
- Patient and make sound judgments in a timely manner, on a daily basis, while interacting with children
- Required to supervise children while in transit and know where all children are, at all times
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, parents, and children
- Follow documentation requirements for behaviors and injuries
- Attend required staff meetings
- Reliable, prompt, and practice excellent attendance
- Adhere to check in and check out policies
- Maintain safety of vehicles at all times
- Maintain consistent communication with Facilities Director
- Lift and maneuver up to forty (40) pounds rarely
- Perform any other duties as assigned

- Complete Transportation Policy packet provided by the employer
- This employer conducts a drug test, a background check and a DMV records check before first day of employment; Employment is contingent on passing a behind the wheel drive test, conducted by the employers' fleet specialist
Pay / Benefits:
$ 26 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
Seasonal Dates / Hours:
- Camp runs June 23 through August 22; Monday through Friday
* No camp on Friday, July 4
