An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Teacher specializing in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education to provide essential services across K-12 settings in Jasper, AL. This itinerant position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about creating inclusive learning environments and are committed to supporting students with hearing impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with hearing loss in a K-12 setting.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Implement effective teaching methods and adapt materials to enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student confidence and participation.
• Maintain regular communication with students, families, and school staff regarding progress and any necessary accommodations.
• Stay informed about advancements in educational practices and technologies for students with hearing loss.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
